Our office is located at 1476/13 on the third floor in Govindpuri, which is part of the larger Kalkaji area in New Delhi. Getting up to the third floor is a bit of a climb since the stairs are narrow, but it is good exercise, I guess. The streets in Govindpuri are always buzzing with activity, people selling things, and bikes zooming past. Artech Infosystems is just a regular workplace where we manage info systems and staffing needs. The office itself has a lot of wires running along the baseboards and several rows of desks crammed together. It can get pretty loud when everyone is on a call at the same time. We have a small window that gives us a view of the rooftops nearby. The furniture is a bit mismatched, with some chairs being much more comfortable than others. We spend our days staring at spreadsheets and talking to people on the other end of the line. It is not a glamorous setup, just a busy one where the clock always seems to be moving faster than we want it to. Lunch usually involves someone going down to get samosas or tea from the local vendor at the corner. We stay pretty focused on the tasks at hand, making sure the data is right and the schedules are met. It is a typical Delhi office experience where we just get on with things in our own way.
