Angip Leather (I) Ltd.

You can find us over at B-1/E-3 in the Mohan Co-Op Industrial Estate along Mathura Road. It’s a massive area and it can be easy to get turned around if you aren't familiar with the blocks. Angip Leather (I) Ltd. has its space here among many other factories and warehouses. The noise of the traffic from Mathura Road is always in the background. It’s an industrial vibe through and through. We have large doors for loading and unloading because there is always something moving. Inside, it’s all about the leather. We have rolls of it everywhere and the smell is something you just get used to after the first week. The lighting isn't great in some corners but we manage. Our staff is mostly people who have been in the trade for years. They know the materials just by touch. We don't have fancy carpets or art on the walls. It’s mostly concrete floors and metal shelves. It gets quite hot in the warehouse during the summer so we keep the big doors open for a breeze. We spend our time checking batches and making sure the counts are right. It’s hard work and it isn't always clean, but it’s what we do. We usually wrap things up by early evening before the traffic on the main road gets too backed up for the commute home. That's life.
