Our office is at 174, R.P.S, in the D.D.A Flats here in New Delhi. It’s in the 110017 zip code area. It’s a bit of a different setup than what people might expect when they hear the name American Express India. Instead of a massive skyscraper, we are right here in the residential flats. It’s a practical space. We’ve got the usual office stuff—chairs, some old computers, and plenty of cables running along the floor. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part, just people living their lives. We come in every morning, settle into our spots, and start the day’s work. There’s a small park nearby where some of us go to sit for a bit when the office feels too small. The parking is usually a bit of a headache, like most places in Delhi. We spend our time dealing with financial things and paperwork. It’s not very glamorous, but it’s what we do. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it’s our space. We’ve been here for a while and know the local shops around the corner well. It’s just a group of people doing their jobs in a normal New Delhi neighborhood. We keep things simple and just focus on getting through the daily list.
