Ambica Delicacies

You can find us at 96 Aurbindo Marg in the Adchini area. We’ve been running Ambica Delicacies from this spot for a while. It’s on a main road, so there’s always cars buzzing by. The shop itself is simple. We don't have fancy lights or expensive furniture. We just have some counters and a kitchen area where we prepare everything. We focus on a few specific dishes that we’re comfortable making. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers in the back. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we’re doing the prep work in the morning. We buy our ingredients from the local markets every couple of days. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just want to make food that tastes like it was made at home. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty or the paint on the walls looks a bit old, but we’re too busy cooking to worry about that. People stop by on their way home from work or grab something while they're out running errands. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’ve had our ups and downs like any other small shop, but we’re still here. If you’re driving down Aurbindo Marg and feel a bit hungry, you’ll see our sign right there. It’s not much, but it’s ours. We try to keep things honest and the food hot for whoever walks in. It's just a regular local place.
