Amba Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at B-187 in Phase I of the Okhla Industrial Estate. This area is always full of trucks and the smell of industrial work. Amba Engineering Works has been around for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. We have high ceilings and big heavy machines bolted to the floor. The sound of cutting metal is something you just get used to after a while. We spend our days taking orders for custom parts or repairs that people bring in. It’s a lot of manual labor, and the floor is always covered in metal shavings and oil. We don’t have a fancy lobby or an air-conditioned office. Usually, we just meet people right there on the shop floor. Our clothes always have a few holes in them from sparks or sharp edges. It’s not a place for someone who wants to stay clean. We have a small staff of guys who have been with us for years. We know each other's habits and how to handle the old equipment. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. We don't do much in terms of marketing. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for decades. It’s about getting the job done right so the parts fit where they’re supposed to go. It’s just how we make our living.
