Alpha Computers

Our place is in Nehru Place, room 707. If you know Nehru Place, you know it’s always crowded and there's a lot going on. Our office isn't very big, but we’ve got enough space for the computers and the tools we use. We spend most of our time looking at screens or opening up towers to see what’s wrong inside. The building has an elevator that’s usually slow, so some people just take the stairs. There are boxes stacked up against the walls because we get deliveries pretty often. It’s not the neatest office you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the phone rings and we can't find it under all the papers. We deal with all sorts of computer stuff, mostly repairs and helping people figure out why their machines won't start. It gets a bit hot in the summer because of all the machines running at once. We have a small fan that helps a bit. We’ve been in this building for several years now. We know the other guys on the floor and sometimes we trade parts if we’re missing something. It’s a busy environment and there’s always something to do. We don’t do much advertising. Most people just find us because they’re already in Nehru Place looking for help with their tech. We just keep our heads down and do the work at Alpha Computers.
