Akiko Callnet

Akiko Callnet is based over in Okhla, specifically at 263-B Gulmohar Avenue in Jamia Nagar. It’s a bit of a trek to get here sometimes because of the New Delhi traffic, but once you’re in the neighborhood, it’s not too bad. We’ve got our office set up here and we’ve been at it for a while. It’s a busy area with a lot of students and families around, so there’s always something happening outside the windows. We handle a lot of calls and networking stuff from this office. It’s not the biggest space, but we make it work with the desks we have. Tarana Hussain is the name on the door mostly. We spend a lot of our time on headsets or typing away. The building itself is okay, nothing special to look at, but it keeps the rain out and the internet works most of the time. We aren't really looking to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do our jobs well and keep the lights on. Lunchtime usually involves grabbing something from the local spots nearby, which are actually quite good if you like spicy food. The commute can be a pain depending on the time of day, but that’s just part of living in Delhi. We keep things pretty simple here. No big meetings about plans for the future, just daily tasks and getting through the pile of work on our desks.
