We have been in this spot for a while now, and it works well for what we do. Being on the ground floor is handy because we do not have to carry heavy boxes up any stairs when things arrive. We handle all the clothing work right here in this space. It is a bit of a lived-in area, not some sterile office with nothing out of place. We have fabrics and tools all over the place, but we know where everything is kept. Lado Sarai is a nice part of town with a lot of other creative spots around, so we feel like we fit in pretty well. We do not have a big mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just show up in the morning, do the work, and try to make sure everything looks right before it goes out. It is a simple way to run a business. We like the independence it gives us. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy when we are really busy, but that is just part of the process. We are not trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or reception. We just want to make sure the clothes are done well. That is what Akaaro Clothing is about.
