Agilent Technologies

Our office is over at E 52 B in Siddhartha Nagar, New Delhi. It’s a fairly quiet pocket of the city compared to some other parts. We’ve been running things here for Agilent Technologies for a while. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a door and some windows in a regular building. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our gear. We do a lot of technical work that requires some focus, so the quiet neighborhood helps with that. We don’t really do the whole corporate image thing. No one here is worried about having the biggest desk or a fancy title. We just divide the work and get on with it. Sometimes we have lunch at our desks while we talk about nothing in particular. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do make sure we stay on top of our deadlines. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone telling us how to sound professional. We just talk like normal people. It’s an honest living and we like the independence of this location. It feels more like a community than a business hub. We’ve got some good local spots for coffee which is a plus. There is a small park nearby where some of us walk during the lunch break just to get some air.
