Nehru Place is always a mess of people and cables. We are up on the second floor of the Siddhartha Building, number 202. Advantage Computers (I) Pvt. Ltd. has been around this area for quite some time. Dealing with computer stuff is our daily reality. It’s noisy outside but we just keep at it. The office is usually full of parts and boxes. We aren't trying to look like a big corporate office. It's a workspace for people who know hardware. People come up the stairs looking for specific parts or help with a machine that won't start. We do what we can. Sometimes the building elevator is slow, so walking is faster. Working at 96 Nehru Place means you see everything. It's the heart of the tech market here. A few desks and a lot of tools are all we need. Our staff has been here long enough to know where every little screw is kept. Handling repairs and sales without making a big fuss is how we operate. We don't have a glossy brochure. We just have the work we do. Sometimes a customer brings in a laptop that's ten years old. Other times it's something brand new. Looking at the problem and trying to fix it is the simple way we run the shop. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the tools ready. Every day brings something different to the workbench.
