Adhunika Estates

I work here at Adhunika Estates, which is at B 63 in Amar Colony. We’ve been here for some time now. It’s right there in Lajpat Nagar Part I, Block B. If you know the area, we are basically opposite the Maa Veshnu Mandir. It’s a busy street, especially when there’s a festival or a lot of people going to the temple. You can hear the bells and the chanting sometimes while we are sitting at the desks. Across from us is also the Defence Colony side, so there is always a lot of movement. The office isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we do. We have some files stacked up and a few chairs for whoever drops by. Lajpat Nagar is a place where something is always happening. Sometimes the parking is a real headache. People come in looking for places to stay or maybe a shop to rent. We just look through our notes and see what’s available in the colony. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down in ledgers. My desk is usually a mess of papers and half-empty tea cups. It’s not a corporate setup, just a local spot where we handle estate work. I like being near the temple, it gives the place a good vibe. We just do our thing every day and try to help people find what they need around here.
