Our workshop is located in the Okhla Industrial Estate Phase I DDA Sheds C 87. It is a pretty standard engineering setup with a lot of heavy metal and tools laying around. We do a lot of machining and fabrication work on a daily basis. The sheds here are close together so you can always hear what the neighbors are working on through the walls. We start early, usually around 9 am, and get the lathes going. There is always oil on the floor and grease on our hands. It is the kind of place where you don't wear your good clothes because they will get ruined. We have a lot of different projects going on at once. Some are small parts and others are bigger assemblies for machines. We spend a lot of time measuring things with calipers and making sure everything fits right. It gets very loud when the grinders are running. We have a small area where we keep the finished goods before they are picked up by the tempos. The street outside is always blocked with trucks and people loading stuff. We have been at this location for a long time. Our regulars know exactly where to find us in the maze of Phase I. We don't spend much on decor or anything like that. The focus is on the metal and the machines. It is hard work but it keeps the lights on and keeps us busy every single day.
