Aastha Marriage Bureau

Our office is located at C 34 in the Amar Colony Market, which is part of Lajpat Nagar IV. It’s a very active market, always full of people shopping for clothes or eating at the local stalls. We run a marriage bureau here, which means we spend a lot of time talking to parents and looking through files. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The office is simple—just some chairs, a few desks, and lots of folders filled with biodatas and photos. We don't use any fancy algorithms or complicated systems. It's mostly just listening to what families are looking for and seeing if we have anyone who might be a good match. We see all sorts of people walking through our doors. Some are very specific about what they want, others are just starting the search. It can be a bit emotional sometimes, and we have to be patient. We aren't a big online portal; we prefer meeting people face to face. It feels more real that way. The market outside is always noisy, but inside we try to keep things calm so people can talk properly. We just help with the introductions and let the families take it from there. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but it’s what we do. We drink a lot of tea while listening to life stories. It's just a normal day at the market for us.
