Aastha Computers

Aastha Computers is in the main market of Nehru Place at shop number 101. If you have ever been to Nehru Place, you know it is a total madhouse most of the time. There are people everywhere, shouting about deals and carrying heavy boxes of hardware through the narrow lanes. Our shop is just one small part of that big mess. Inside, it is quite cramped because we have boxes of components stacked up almost to the ceiling. We sell various computer bits and also do some fixing when people bring their machines in. It is always loud, both from the crowds outside and the fans running in the computers we are testing on the benches. I usually have a cup of tea sitting somewhere on a stack of papers, and it often gets cold because I got distracted by a customer. We do not have any fancy displays here. We just put the boxes out where people can see them. It is a lot of haggling and talking all day long with different people. My throat usually feels a bit scratchy by the time we finally close the shutters for the night. It is a tough place to work because the competition is everywhere, literally right next door to us. But we have been at shop 101 for a long time, so people manage to find us. It is just a standard computer shop.
