Aashlok Hospital

The hospital is right here at 25AB in the Community Centre at Safdarjung Enclave. We’ve been here quite a while now. Most mornings start early, before the traffic really picks up in the enclave. You can see the staff arriving, some look tired, others are ready to go. The building itself is just a regular place, nothing too fancy, but it does the job. Patients come in and out all day long. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit crowded, especially when the weather is bad or there is something going around the neighborhood. We mostly just focus on getting through the appointments and making sure everyone gets seen. It is a busy spot. You can hear the sounds from the community centre outside while you are working. Safdarjung is a nice enough area, though parking can be a real headache sometimes if you arrive at the wrong time. We have nurses who have worked here for years and they know the regulars by name. It is just a part of the local scene. We don't spend much time worrying about how the lobby looks as long as it is clean. The doctors are usually busy in their rooms. If you walk past the desk, you'll see stacks of files and people on phones. It’s a lot of work but that is just how a hospital goes. We try to keep things moving as best as we can without too much fuss.
