Aakar Consultants is based in Sidharth Nagar, right near the Ashram area in Delhi. This part of the city is famous for its traffic and being a major crossroads. Our office is right in the middle of all that. It’s not a big glass building. It’s a more traditional, local space. We have been here for a good while. The office inside is a bit tight, with desks pushed together to make room for everyone. We have shelves full of old files and documents we’ve collected over the years. It’s not the most modern look, but it works for us. We hear the roar of the traffic from Ashram all day long. Sometimes it’s hard to ignore, but you get used to it after a week. We don't have a marketing team or a polished website. We just do our work and let people find us. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through various consulting papers. We take our tea breaks at the small stall around the corner. It’s a very grounded, practical way to run a business. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or fancy. We are just a group of people working hard in Sidharth Nagar. It’s a busy, somewhat messy, but very real place to work. We like being accessible and keeping things straightforward for anyone who drops in.
