Our team works on the second floor of an old double-story building in Lajpat Nagar. The address is Q-4, and it’s a well-known area in Delhi because of the big markets nearby. This building has seen better days, and the stairs are quite steep to get up to the second floor. Inside, the space is divided into different sections for our work. It’s a branch of WNS, and we focus on various back-office tasks and data management. It’s usually quite busy with people talking on headsets or typing. The layout is a bit awkward because of the way the old building is constructed, so we have desks in places you wouldn’t expect. We have a small window that looks out over the street, and it’s always interesting to see what’s going on down there. The ceiling fans make a lot of noise, but they keep us cool enough during the summer. We don't have a big fancy lobby for visitors. You just come up the stairs and you’re right in the middle of the office. It feels like a very lived-in space. We have our regulars who bring us tea from the stall downstairs twice a day. It’s a simple, functional place where we spend our eight or nine hours a day. We don't really do anything for show here, it’s all about getting the work done and then heading home through the busy Lajpat Nagar traffic. It is just a normal office.
