A One Computer

We are over at 432 Sant Nagar in East Of Kailash. A One Computer has been sitting here for quite a while now. This part of Delhi is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. The shop is small, mostly filled with spare parts and customer computers waiting to be picked up. We don't have a lot of room for walking around, but we have everything we need to get the repairs done. Most people come to us because they live nearby and their PC started making a weird noise or their laptop won't turn on. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to folks. We just tell them what’s wrong and how long it might take to fix. It is honest work. Sometimes it gets a bit frustrating when a part doesn't arrive on time, but that is part of the business. We have a couple of desks where we do the soldering and the testing. It's not a corporate office, just a local repair shop where you can hear the traffic from the road outside while we work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the basic problems with computers stay the same. People just want their stuff to work so they can get back to their own lives, and we help with that. We close up around eight usually, once the last customer has gone.
