Hotel Sinclairs Bay View

You can find us at M.S. Road No. 16 in South Point. We're situated right by the water, which means the air always has that salty smell and the wind can get pretty strong coming off the bay. Running a hotel this close to the sea is a lot of hard work because the humidity and salt tend to wear things down fast. We're constantly out there painting or fixing things that the weather gets to. The building has been sitting here for a good long while and it has seen many different seasons. We have guests coming in from the ferry or the airport, often looking a bit worn out from their travels. We provide a place to sit and look out at the bay, but we aren't a flashy luxury resort by any means. It's a simple, honest place with a decent view of the water. Our staff are mostly local people who know the area and the islands well. We don't have those big corporate manuals to follow; we just try to be helpful when a guest has a question. The road outside isn't too busy, so it stays fairly peaceful most of the time. We keep the rooms as clean as we can and make sure the fans are working against the heat. It's just a regular hotel by the sea. It's a bit old but we like it here.
