Jkcm Consultancy is based in the Sampa Mirza Nagar Housing Estate in Kolkata. It's a residential sort of area, so it's a bit quieter than the main city center. Being in West Bengal, specifically in the 700143 zip code area, gives us a nice local feel. The office itself is tucked away within the housing estate. It's not a big glass tower or anything. We just have a couple of rooms where we sit and do our consultancy work. Most of the people living around here know us as the office downstairs or in the next block. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the neighborhood. The humidity in Kolkata can be a lot, but we have our ways of staying cool while we work. We don't have a fancy reception desk. Usually, if someone comes by, one of us just looks up from our computer and says hello. We deal with a lot of numbers and documents throughout the week. It’s mostly quiet work. Sometimes we hear the kids playing outside in the estate during the afternoons. It’s a good environment for focusing. We try to keep our files organized, though sometimes the stacks of paper get a bit high. It’s just us doing our thing every day. Nothing too complicated or formal about how we run things here. We just focus on the tasks we have on our desks and try to stay on top of things.
