Urban Foods

Our office is located in Building No.1429, which is in Sector 38, Phase I of the Hsiidc area in Rai. This is a very industrial part of the region, so it is mostly warehouses and manufacturing units all around us. Urban Foods has been here for a while, and we have gotten used to the sound of forklifts and trucks moving throughout the day. The building itself is quite large and functional, with plenty of space for what we need to do. It is not the kind of place where you would expect to see a lot of décor. We have plain walls, sturdy tables, and a lot of equipment that we use daily. Working in Rai means we are part of a bigger industrial hub, so there is always a sense of everyone just getting on with their jobs. The dust can be a bit much sometimes, especially when the wind picks up, so we are constantly cleaning off the desks. We usually bring our own tea in a flask because the nearest shop is a bit of a walk away. It is a no-nonsense environment where we focus on the logistics and the physical work of the business. We do not spend much time on fancy meetings; we would rather just be out on the floor making sure things are moving as they should. It is a practical way to run things in a busy industrial sector.
