Suraj College Of Education

Out here in Vpo-Butana Kundu, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Suraj College of Education is located at number 3 in the village, right in the Gohana Tehsil. We are part of the Sonepat district, with the code 131301. Most of what we do here is training people who want to become teachers in the future. It is a very practical kind of place with a focus on getting the work done. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls; it’s mostly just classrooms, benches, and stacks of books. The students often come from the nearby villages and small towns around Gohana. You can see the green fields from our windows, which is quite nice during the harvest season when everything is bright. We have a small office where we handle all the university paperwork and student records. It can get a bit dusty when the wind blows across the open land in the afternoons, but that is just how it is in rural Haryana. Our staff is friendly and we all know each other's families well. We aren't trying to be some high-pressure institution with lots of rules. We just want to make sure the students learn how to manage a classroom and help their own students one day. Sometimes the internet is slow, or we have to deal with the heat in the summer months, but we keep the classes going. It is a solid, local college.
