Bbm International School

Started on Meham Road years ago. Every morning the buses pull in and the street gets quite crowded. Gohana is a busy place but inside the gates it's just us and the kids. We have a playground that gets very dusty in the summer months. The teachers here mostly live nearby in Sonepat, so they know the families well. We spend a lot of time on basic reading and math because that's what matters most. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to open all the windows and keep going. It’s a normal school day for everyone. Kids often forget their lunchboxes or lose their pens. We have a small office where parents come to chat about fees or how their child is doing. It really isn't a fancy place at all. There are charts on the walls that the older students made a few years back. Some of them are starting to peel a bit at the corners now. We go through a lot of chalk and notebooks every month. During the monsoon season, the yard gets a bit muddy, so we have to keep the children inside the classrooms during their breaks. You can hear the traffic from the road sometimes during the quiet reading time in the afternoon. We just try to get through the syllabus every year without too much fuss. It's a lot of work but seeing the kids grow up is nice for all of us.
