Sunrise International School

Our school is out in Nangal Kalan, which is a bit of a quieter spot in the Sonepat area. It’s surrounded by a lot of open space, which gives the kids plenty of fresh air compared to being in the middle of a big city. The building itself is fairly modern but we keep things simple on the inside. We have a few rows of classrooms and a central area where everyone gathers in the morning. Most of the kids come from the surrounding villages, so the school is a bit of a meeting point for different families. We have a few buses that go out to pick up the ones who live further away. The staff room is usually full of notebooks being graded and teachers having a quick cup of tea between lessons. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we do expect the students to stay on top of their studies. We have a small library with some old books that the kids seem to enjoy. The playground is just a big open field where they play cricket or tag. We don't have any big corporate backing or fancy slogans. It’s just us, the teachers, and the students trying to get through the school year as best as we can. It’s a practical setup that works for the people living around here.
