Podar International School

Podar International School is located at Plot No-98 on the Delhi Road in Sonepat. If you are coming from the main part of town, you have to look out for the turn-off near the industrial area. It’s a fairly large plot, so there is plenty of room for the buses to park and turn around without getting stuck. The school building is a solid structure that stands out a bit from the other warehouses and offices around here. Every morning, the gates open around 7:30 and the place starts filling up. We have a lot of staff members, from the guards at the gate to the people who clean the hallways every afternoon. It’s a busy environment. We don't really do the whole polished corporate thing; we are just teachers and administrators trying to get through the day's schedule. There is a lot of walking involved because the building is quite spread out. Sometimes the air in Sonepat gets a bit thick with dust from the construction nearby, so we have to keep the windows shut more often than we’d like. We have a routine that works for us. The office handles the fees and the admissions, while the rest of us focus on what's happening in the rooms. It’s a practical place where things are done simply. We don't overcomplicate things. We just provide the space and the time for the students to come in and do their work.
