Apollo International School

Apollo International School is situated at the 57 Km Stone on G T Karnal Road, near Bari. Since we are right on the highway, there is always the sound of trucks and cars passing by in the distance. It’s a long drive for some of us, but the campus is large and open, which you don't get in the middle of Delhi. The air feels a bit different out here, maybe a little fresher, though the highway dust is a constant battle. The building is quite spread out. We spend a lot of time walking between the different blocks. In the morning, the yellow buses line up, and it’s a bit of a chaotic scene getting everyone off and into their rooms. The grounds are big enough for a lot of running around, but it's mostly just dirt and some patches of grass. We have a canteen that smells like samosas around noon, and that’s usually where you’ll find the staff during their break. It’s a practical place, built for purpose rather than for looking pretty in a magazine. The walls are mostly white, and we have the usual posters and charts taped up in the halls. Some of the tape is peeling, and the clocks in the rooms don't always show the exact same time. It’s just how things are. We’re a bit far from the city, so we rely on each other to get things done every day and keep everything running.
