Suraj Class

We are located inside Dk Yaule Hall on Uplai Road. It’s right in K V Nagar Barshi and most people know the spot because we’re near Don Limb. The hall is quite large, which is helpful when we have more students than usual. It’s a bit of an older building and the stairs are a little steep, but it works for what we need. Every morning, I come in and sweep the floor before the students show up. We have been in Barshi for a while now and the location on Uplai Road is convenient for most families. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy because of the vehicles passing by outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't have fancy air conditioning or anything, just some ceiling fans that do their job. There are always stacks of papers on my desk and a few spare pens for kids who forget theirs. We aren't trying to be a big institution with lots of branches. We just stay here in this one spot and focus on the lessons. It’s a simple life. We talk to the parents when they drop the kids off and we know most of the neighbors. It feels like a small community inside the hall. On rainy days, the roof makes a loud sound but we just keep teaching. It’s just how things are at Suraj Class. We’re here every day, except for the big festivals.
