Gajanan Classes

We set up Gajanan Classes near Tangsaal Hall, just off Asara Chowk. It’s a well-known spot in Solapur. Being in the 413001 zip code means we get a lot of students from the surrounding neighborhoods. The hall nearby often has events, so sometimes there is music or noise, but we just close the windows and keep going. Our space is just a few rooms filled with wooden benches. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. People just know we are here. Every day, we open the shutters and get things ready for the first batch. We spend a lot of time checking homework and explaining the same things in different ways until the kids get it. It’s not a complicated business. We just teach what's in the curriculum. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the emergency lights, but the kids are used to it. We drink a lot of water and keep the fans going. It’s a regular part of life here. Parents usually stop by on their way home from work to ask how things are going. We give them a honest answer. There's no point in sugarcoating things. If a student is struggling, we tell them. It's just a small, local place where people come to learn. We've been at this address for quite some time now. We usually finish up the last lesson as the evening traffic starts to fade away.
