Dnyansagar Academy

Our academy, Dnyansagar Academy, is out in Sogaon, specifically in Shrikant Nagar. This is in the Solapur district, 413206. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a good spot for an academy because it’s not too noisy. We have a modest building. It’s just one of those local places where everyone knows everyone else. We don’t have air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that we have to fix every now and then. The floors are concrete and we try to keep them swept. We focus on the lessons and don't worry about having the newest furniture. Most of our students live nearby in Sogaon. We see them walking over every day. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere here. We don't wear uniforms or anything corporate like that. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Sometimes we have small celebrations when someone does well, but nothing big. Just some sweets and a bit of a break. It feels like a small family here. We have some old books that students have left behind for others to use. It’s a simple system that works for us. We don’t need much else besides a quiet room and some willing students in Shrikant Nagar. We opened this because there weren't many options in this part of Sogaon, and we wanted to stay close to home and help the neighborhood out a little bit. We usually stay open until quite late in the evening.
