Ruchi Veg

Ruchi Veg is our small eatery located at Maharshi Chowk on the bypass road. We are right near the new bus stand in Akluj, which means we get a lot of travelers coming through. Solapur can be a busy place, and being near the bus stand keeps us on our toes. We focus on vegetarian food because it’s simple and what most people around here look for. The place isn’t very big, so it can feel a bit cramped when a bus arrives and everyone comes in at once. We don't have a big fancy menu, just the usual stuff that travelers need when they’re on the move. My wife and I started this place a few years back. We do most of the work ourselves, with a little help in the afternoons. The bypass road is always noisy with buses and trucks, but we’ve gotten used to the sound. We try to make sure people get their food quickly so they don't miss their bus. Sometimes the vegetable delivery is late and we have to adjust what we’re making for the day. That’s just part of running a shop like this. We don’t use any secret recipes or anything. It's just plain food for hungry people. If you’re ever stuck at the Akluj bus stand waiting for a ride, you can find us at the chowk. We’re usually there from morning until late evening serving tea and snacks.
