We run Prakash Paint & Steel Merchant. You can find us on the Main Road in Akkalkot, specifically in the Vidyanagar area. It’s a busy spot, which is good for a shop like ours. We sell paint and steel, so the place is always full of heavy stuff and buckets of every color you can think of. It’s not the cleanest shop because of all the metal and the mixing, but it’s a real working place. We’ve been on this Main Road for a long time. People from all over Akkalkot come here when they are building or fixing up their houses. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just tell people what we have and how much it costs. My brother and I usually handle the heavy lifting. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on Vidyanagar, but we’re used to it. The shop is a bit of a mess sometimes with all the steel rods and paint cans, but we know where everything is. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. We just rely on people seeing us as they drive down the Main Road. It’s a simple business. We treat people fair and they keep coming back. That is all we really want.
