Marda Textile Industries

Marda Textile Industries is located at Plot No.205 in the MIDC area on Akkalkot Road. It’s a bit of a drive out here, away from the main residential parts of town. The area is filled with warehouses and manufacturing units, so it’s a lot of grey buildings and heavy vehicles moving about. Our plot has a decent-sized yard where the loading and unloading happens throughout the day. You can usually hear the sound of the gates swinging open early in the morning. Inside the facility, things are kept simple and functional. We don’t have fancy furniture or decorative plants; it’s all about the machines and the workspace. The walls are painted a neutral color that hides the industrial grime fairly well. We have a small crew and we all know each other’s names, so it doesn't feel like those massive, anonymous factories. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or use the generator while we talk about the local news. The air out here feels different than in the city center, more open but also more dusty. We stay busy with the orders coming in and the shipments going out. At the end of the shift, we lock up the main doors and head home, leaving Plot 205 quiet until the next morning. It’s just a straightforward place where the work gets done without any unnecessary fuss.
