Reba Boruah is the person at this address who helps manage everything. We do a mix of things here because this region is known for both its crops and its silk. Working with silk is a slow process and it takes a lot of patience, which is something we are used to in the village. The agro side of the business keeps us busy in the fields too. We started the producer company to bring the local families together who are doing the same kind of work. It’s much easier to handle the silk threads and the farm produce when you have a bit of a system. The office is just a part of the house really. We don't have a staff of people in suits. It is just us, the local farmers and weavers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to finish our work by hand or wait for the morning light.
