Sri Annai College

Sri Annai College is located right at the Gandhi Statue in Manamadurai. It is a very well-known landmark, so nobody ever gets lost trying to find us. Being at number 1 on the street makes it even easier for new students. The college has been a part of the local landscape for years. It’s not a massive university campus, but it has enough room for the classrooms and the students who come from the surrounding villages. Most of the life here revolves around the academic calendar. You see the students gathered near the statue in the mornings before their classes start. The building itself is plain and functional. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy furniture. We have the usual benches and blackboards in every room. The staff handles everything from admissions to cleaning up at the end of the day. It’s a very hands-on way of running a college. Manamadurai is a quiet town, and we like it that way. We don't go for big marketing campaigns or shiny brochures to attract people. Folks in the district know us through word of mouth. If a son or daughter finishes their degree here and gets a job, that’s all the advertisement we really need. During the rainy season, we have to deal with a few leaks, and in the summer, it gets very hot, but we just keep going. It’s a place for learning without any bells and whistles.
