Patel Mobile Service Center

Our place, Patel Mobile Service Center, is situated on Palace Road, right near Jail Road. It’s a bit of an interesting spot with the palace nearby and the jail road traffic. We focus mostly on fixing things. If a phone is broken, it usually ends up on our workbench. We have tiny screwdrivers and magnifying glasses all over the place. The shop isn't very big, and the walls are a bit stained from years of use. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or bright signs. We just have a simple counter where people drop off their devices. Palace Road can get quite busy, especially with tourists and locals moving between the landmarks. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive by courier, so the shelves are often full of phones waiting for their turn. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just talk to the people who walk through the door. The fan overhead hums quite loudly, and we usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background. It feels like a real workshop because that’s what it is. We get grease and glue on our fingers and just wipe it off on a rag. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of business where we just try to get the electronics working again for the folks around here.
