You can find Bhagwati Communication on the Sadar Bazar New Bus Stand Road, which is a pretty lively area to be in. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly helping people with their mobile connections or some paperwork. There are always people coming in to get their SIM cards fixed or to pay their monthly bills for various services. We have a couple of old computers that we use for the online work and they can be a bit slow or glitchy sometimes. The road outside is always full of people walking between the market and the bus stand, so we get a lot of foot traffic coming through. It’s not just about phones though; sometimes people just stop in to ask for directions or to use the stapler for a moment. We keep a few plastic chairs for those who have to wait for their documents to process or their recharges to go through. The shop feels a bit cramped because we have so many different forms, receipts, and notebooks stacked up on the wooden shelves. It’s not a very modern place, but it works for us and the people who live and work around here. We know most of the other shopkeepers on this stretch of the road and we often share some hot tea in the afternoons. It’s a simple life of managing the daily small tasks that keep everyone in the area connected.
