Thirmalapur Raitu Mitra Producer Company

Our group, the Thirmalapur Raitu Mitra Producer Company, is based right here in the village at House Number 1-113/1. We are basically a group of neighbors and friends who decided to work together on the farming side of things because it was getting harder to go it alone. Thirmalapur is a quiet place and we like it that way. Most of what we do involves looking after the interests of the local growers. If you come by the house at 1-113/1, you might see us sorting out supplies or just talking about the next planting season. We don't have any polished slogans or a big corporate strategy that nobody understands. It is mostly just practical stuff. When the rains are late, we sit together and plan what to do next. When the harvest is good, we figure out the transport to get it to market. The name Raitu Mitra means we are friends to the farmers, and that's the truth of it. We are just people from the community. The office isn't anything special, just a room where we keep the books and meet up. It can get a bit loud and crowded when everyone shows up at once on a Monday morning, but we manage to get the work done. Living and working in the same village makes it easy for people to drop in whenever they have a question or a problem. We stay busy with the crops and the livestock, making sure everyone gets a fair shake. It is a humble setup but it works for us here in Thirmalapur.
