Kanagal Farmers Producer Company Limited

Budamarlapally is a quiet corner in the Nalgonda area, and that is where Kanagal Farmers Producer Company is based. We are at house number 5-6, which is just a regular building where we meet up. Life here revolves around the seasons and what the land is doing. When it is time to sow or harvest, this place gets really busy with people coming in to talk about their yields. Nalgonda can be very hot, so we usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. By the afternoon, things slow down and we sit inside to deal with the records. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us making sure the farmers get what they need and that the produce goes where it should. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the computers, but that’s just how it is here. The roads are a bit bumpy getting out to us, but we don't mind it much. We know all the families around here because we’ve lived in this district our whole lives. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There isn't much to see if you're looking for something modern, but it works for us.
