We are based out of Bheemla Thanda-Ek at the very first house, 1-1. Ontigudesey Farmers Producer Company is a name we use to organize our farming work around here. Most of us have lived in this area our whole lives. We know every corner of these fields. The office is just a simple room where we meet to talk about the crops. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It's just a place to get work done. We deal with the soil every day. Sometimes the wind picks up and blows dust all over everything at 1-1, but we don't mind much. We grow what we can and try to figure out the best way to move it to the market. It's a lot of manual labor and long hours under the sun. We share the equipment when someone’s tractor is acting up. That’s just how things are done in Bheemla Thanda. We don't use big words or have complicated plans. We just look at what needs to be planted and get to it. The rain is always on our minds. If it doesn't come, we have a hard time. If it comes too much, it's also a problem. We just take it as it comes. It's a quiet life mostly, just focused on the land and the people we live near. We wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if we weren't farming.
