Thamboola Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based out of the SNRM Compound in Yekkegundi. If you know the area in Harihara taluka, you probably know where Kotrappa's place is. We share the space there and it works for us. It’s not a big corporate building, just a compound where we can get our work done without distractions. Being a farmer producer company, we are mostly concerned with what's happening in the fields around Harihara every day. We meet at the compound to discuss the seeds and the rain patterns. It’s a very local operation and we like it that way. We don’t have a fancy website or a big team to tell people what we do. We just use the space we have to organize the local farmers and their harvests. The compound is usually full of activity, especially when it's time to distribute supplies or collect the produce. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people who come by to ask questions. It’s a plain way to work. We handle the administrative side of the farming business from this spot in Yekkegundi. Some of the desks are old and the chairs might squeak a bit, but it serves the purpose. We are just a group of people from the taluka trying to make this work. There is no big fuss about it, just daily work in the SNRM Compound. That’s how we keep things going.
