Slv Pu College

Slv Pu College is located right along NH 4 in Chitradurga. Since it is situated on the main highway, it is very easy for the students to find us. We get a lot of kids coming in from the nearby towns because the bus connections are quite good. The building is a standard concrete structure with several floors. Being a pre-university college, we only have the students with us for two years, so they are always in a bit of a hurry to finish their syllabus and prepare for exams. The labs are on the upper floors and they have all the basic equipment for physics and chemistry experiments. The classrooms are large with plenty of benches for everyone. We have a small canteen where the students get snacks and tea during their breaks. It gets quite noisy and crowded during those fifteen minutes. The staff stays very busy with attendance registers and preparing for the final board exams. There is a lot of focus on textbooks and handwriting here. We don't have a massive campus with big gardens, but there is enough space for the students to stand around and talk between their classes. The parking area for the staff is tucked away at the side of the building. Chitradurga gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we have big windows to let the breeze in. It's a no-nonsense kind of place where the main goal is just getting through the course. You can hear the trucks all day long.
