Jjm Medical College

We are located in Davangere, which is a place known for its education and, of course, the local food. The medical college has been a part of this city for quite some time now. It’s a large campus with various buildings spread out over a good amount of land. Most days, you see students rushing between classes or heading toward the hospital side of things. It’s a lively atmosphere, though it can get pretty quiet during exam times. We have classrooms that have seen many years of students, and the desks are a bit worn down from use. That’s just part of the charm of an older institution. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a place for learning and working. The sun can get quite hot in Davangere, so everyone tends to look for the shady spots under the trees during their lunch breaks. We have a cafeteria that serves basic meals, and that’s where most people gather to talk about their day or the latest lectures. It’s a very grounded environment. We aren't interested in being the flashiest college around. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks of teaching and learning. The staff here are local folks or people who moved here years ago and never left. It’s a tight-knit community once you get to know everyone. There’s always something to do, whether it’s a lab session or just catching up on some of the mountain of paperwork.
