Little Fairies International Residential School

Little Fairies International Residential School is right on NH 4 in Chitradurga. Since it’s a residential school, it’s a bit different from your everyday day school. We have kids living here full-time, so the place never really sleeps. The staff stays on the grounds too, which means we’re always around if something is needed in the middle of the night. The location on the highway makes it easy for parents to find us when they come to visit on weekends. It’s a large plot of land with dorms and classrooms separate from each other. We spend a lot of time making sure the kitchen is running and the kids are keeping their rooms somewhat tidy. It’s not always easy keeping a bunch of children organized, but we do our best with what we have. The wind can get quite strong out here in Chitradurga, but the buildings are solid enough. We have a routine that starts early with breakfast and ends with supervised study time in the evenings. It’s a plain, functional environment. We don’t have a lot of luxury, just beds, desks, and a place to play sports in the dirt. The focus is just on getting through the school year and making sure everyone is learning. It feels like a small village inside the walls, with everyone knowing everyone else’s business.
