Prashant B R is the one who keeps things moving around here. We are based out of Bharangi, which is a small place in the Soraba Taluk of Shimoga. Specifically, we are at the house of Babanna Shet, who is also known locally as Bennigeri. It is a very rural setting, far away from the big city lights of Bangalore. We focus on education, specifically for those looking at MBA paths. The office is basically a part of the family home. You might hear a cow in the distance or the sound of the rain hitting the tin roof during the monsoon season. It is not a fancy coaching center with air conditioning and whiteboards. We have some books, a few chairs, and a lot of local knowledge about how to get ahead. Prashant spends a lot of time talking to students and their parents about their futures. It is a slow pace of life in Shimoga, and we like it that way. We do not have a website that looks like a million bucks. We just have our reputation and the word of mouth from people we have helped over the years. We eat lunch together, usually something homemade from the kitchen next door. It is a very personal way of doing things. We are just trying to make sure the local kids have a shot at something bigger without losing touch with where they came from. It is about helping our own people in our own small way.
