Podar International School

Our school is located at Sy No 6 in the Vidya Nagar area of Shimoga. Specifically, we're in Oddianakoppa. It’s a pretty standard school setup with a lot of classrooms and a big open space for the kids to run around. Every morning, the buses roll in and the place gets noisy really fast. We have kids from all over the Shimoga area coming here. The buildings are fairly modern, but we don't spend much time worrying about the looks; it's more about keeping the rooms ready for the next lesson. You’ll see teachers carrying stacks of papers and kids carrying heavy bags. That’s the daily view. We’re on a road that gets a bit of dust, but inside the gates, it’s mostly just the sounds of bells and shouting during break time. It’s a long day for most of the staff, especially with the paperwork and making sure everything follows the international curriculum. We don’t have fancy gardens, but there’s enough grass for a football game. Parents often stop by the office to ask about schedules or fees. It’s a very normal, local school experience. Nothing flashy, just a place for learning. The neighborhood around Vidya Nagar is mostly residential, so it stays relatively calm once the school day ends and the buses leave. We’ve been here for several years now and the community knows us well.
