Shahdara is one of those places that has its own rhythm, and being in a narrow gali means we are right in the middle of it all. Our office is a modest setup. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the essentials for running a buildtech business. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the sound of the street is always present. We spend our days dealing with the technical side of building and making sure the sites are running right. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there is something that needs fixing or checking. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers nearby. It’s a practical environment. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. We just focus on the projects we have and try to get them done properly. The office can get a bit warm in the afternoon, but we have a fan that does the job. It’s just a normal workplace for normal people who know their way around a construction site. We just keep our heads down and do the work that is in front of us, one project after another without any fuss.
