R K Steel Udyog Pvt. Ltd. has its office at Plot No. 602/A in the Alkarim Trade Centre. This is located on MG Road, which is pretty much the center of everything in this area. Being in a trade center means we have a lot of neighbors in different businesses. The building itself is quite busy, and you see people coming and going from the various offices all day long. We focus on the steel industry, which involves a lot of technical talk and looking over manufacturing specs. Our office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit all the desks and filing cabinets we need. Dealing with steel means there's always a lot of heavy paperwork to keep track of. MG Road can be a nightmare for parking, so we usually tell people to come early if they’re driving. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many businesses in the Alkarim Trade Centre come and go. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out. There’s a certain rhythm to the work here that we’ve all gotten used to. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters, just a place where we manage the business and try to keep things organized. We spend most of the afternoon catching up on messages and making sure the deliveries are on track and the customers are getting their stuff on time.
