Anupam Fuels

Our office is G-10 in the S.A. Trade Center, 5-5-68, over in Ranigunj. It’s right in the middle of a very busy commercial area. Anupam Fuels has been here for a while. We don't have a giant warehouse at this location; it’s more for the paperwork and meeting people. Ranigunj is a place where everyone is always in a hurry. You can hear the shouting and the horns from the street all day long. We deal with different types of fuels. It’s a lot of coordinating between suppliers and the people who actually need the stuff. My father started this, and now I’m the one spending most of my time here. The trade center is an older building, so it has its quirks. Sometimes the elevator doesn't work, and we have to walk up the stairs. Our room is simple, with a couple of desks and a lot of files. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to our regulars and handle the orders as they come in. It’s mostly about knowing who needs what and when they need it. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a fan going constantly. It’s a noisy, busy place to work, but it suits us. We’ve made a lot of friends in the other offices over the years. It feels like a little community inside the building. We just try to get the work done before it gets too late.
