Gouri Nath Architect

I’m located over in Kundanbagh, specifically in the Brij Tarang building at Unit-D. It’s on the third floor. I’ve been practicing architecture here in Begumpet for quite a while now. The office is a bit tucked away, but it’s a good spot for focusing on design. I usually spend my mornings going over site reports and the afternoons are for drawing. It’s a simple setup with a couple of workstations and a lot of physical models gathered in the corners. I don’t believe in having a sterile office; I like seeing the tools and the mess of the creative process. Hyderabad has a lot of history in its buildings and I try to keep that in mind when I’m working. My desk is often a disaster zone of pencils and rulers. I deal with residential projects mostly, but I've done some shop interiors too. I don’t have a big staff, so I end up doing a lot of the legwork myself. The building is older, which I prefer over the new ones. It has some character. If you’re looking for me, just head to the third floor of Brij Tarang. I’m usually there from morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes I forget to eat lunch when a design is going well. It’s just the way I work. No frills, just architecture and trying to get the details right for the people who hire me. It's a small place but we get a lot done.
