Dell International

Our place is located over in A.S Rao Nagar. It’s a busy part of the city and we fit right in with the rest of the shops and offices around here. When people think of Dell International, they might think of big glass buildings, but here in our corner, it’s much more down-to-earth. We have a lot of computers set up, obviously, and there is always that humming sound of fans running to keep the machines cool. The desks are pushed fairly close together because we like to be able to talk to each other without shouting. We get a lot of sunlight through the front windows in the morning, which is nice until it gets too hot and we have to pull the blinds down. There is a small area in the back where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when we need a break. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just the basic stuff. Most of us live nearby so we walk or take the bus to get here. The neighborhood has changed a lot lately with new stores opening up, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We come in, check the systems, and help people out with whatever they need. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to be the flashiest office on the block. We just focus on the screens and the tasks in front of us until it's time to lock up. We usually finish around six.
